There are lots of option to eat in Lovely Professional University. We can categorize food option in four sectors.
Food courts are the best part of LPU. It is group of small continuous shops just like temporary shops built during festivals. Food courts opens from 8 am to 11 pm. Large variety of foods available in food court. Some of the food available in food courts are-Poha, Burger, Pizza, jalebi, Dosa, Bonda. pastry, etc.
W H smith
It is a type of supermarket. It is open for 22-23 hours per day. It consist of most of the general items related to stationary, grooming and food. It also includes cold drinks and ice-creams.

Mess is available in each hostel in lovely professional university. It is categorize in Basic and standard where Basic is for limited food while standard is for unlimited food. It is further divided into North Indian food and South Indian food. They provide food 4 times in a day.
- Morning Breakfast-(7:30 am-9 am)
- Lunch-(12 pm-3 pm)
- Evening Snacks-(5 pm-6 pm)
- Dinner-(7 pm-9 pm)
To avail mess students have to pay for full semester or for a year in advance.It costs rs 30,000 for a year and 15,500 for a semester as per standard mess.
Canteen
It is present inside hostel as well as outside hostel. The canteen present inside hostel open till 3-4 am in night. If student had not availed mess facility then he can eat from canteen because payment is done at time of purchase. Variety of foods available in canteen but best seller are paratha, dalpuri and thali.
